With extensive experience running resort and hotel operations, Jared understands firsthand the operational, financial, and leadership challenges facing hospitality businesses. He has led teams, optimized operations, improved profitability, and elevated guest experiences—bringing a practical, operator’s mindset to every engagement. His advisory approach is grounded in real-world execution, not theory.

Having served as Board Chair of Tourism Squamish and Board Chair of Destination Osoyoos, Jared also brings senior-level governance and destination leadership experience. In these roles, he guided organizations through strategic planning, organizational change, and stakeholder alignment, working closely with industry partners, municipalities, and community leaders to strengthen destination competitiveness and long-term sustainability.

Kevin Davison serves as Vice President of Operations, Eastern Canada, advising hotel owners and operators on strategies that strengthen operational performance, elevate guest experience and improve financial outcomes. With a disciplined, hands-on approach, Kevin works directly with ownership groups and property leadership teams to identify operational opportunities that drive measurable results. His work focuses on optimizing service delivery, strengthening leadership teams, and aligning day-to-day operations with the financial and strategic goals of hotel ownership.

 

Kevin brings more than 30 years of hospitality leadership experience across branded hotel environments and large-scale residential hospitality operations. Throughout his career, he has overseen complex operations including revenue performance, guest service standards, team development, and budget management. Known for his ability to quickly assess operational challenges and implement practical solutions, Kevin helps hospitality organizations improve execution, enhance service culture, and build sustainable operational systems that deliver long-term value for owners.

Asif Kara is a hospitality-driven real estate executive known for elevating guest experiences, optimizing operations, and creating welcoming, high-performing environments. He began his career in hospitality, where he developed a strong foundation in service excellence, brand culture, and customer experience. Rising through roles in hotel operations, customer service, and multi-property leadership, Asif built a leadership style rooted in empathy, responsiveness, and a commitment to quality.

Today, Asif applies his hospitality mindset to the strategic management of real estate portfolios, guiding development, leasing, and asset management with a focus on people, place, and long-term value. Known for his calm, collaborative leadership, he excels at transforming assets and aligning teams around a shared vision—always with the goal of enhancing the experience of those who interact with the spaces he helps create.

Jean Marc Guillamot Sr.

Hospitality Consultant
Operations and Crisis Management

Jean-Marc is a bilingual hospitality executive with over 40 years of experience in hotel operations, multi-property leadership, and asset performance across Canada. He brings a wealth of expertise in operational turnarounds, organizational alignment, and performance optimization in both urban and resort settings. As Area Director in Fort McMurray, he managed a portfolio of 10 properties (1,253 rooms), achieving sustained revenue growth, strong GOP performance, and operational stability in a dynamic market.

His leadership approach emphasizes aligning teams with strategic objectives, strengthening accountability, and enhancing service delivery to drive financial results and guest satisfaction. Jean-Marc collaborates closely with ownership groups and leadership teams to translate strategy into measurable operational outcomes. His experience encompasses complex property repositioning, team development, and performance improvement initiatives, with a focus on execution and long-term value creation.

Having successfully led organizations through major crisis events—including the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfires and 2020 floods—Jean-Marc offers a practical, experience-based perspective on leadership, resilience, and decision-making in high-pressure environments. Based in Edmonton, he is actively involved in hospitality consulting, assisting organizations with business planning, operational strategy, and leadership development. Additionally, he is the author of Leadership Through Hell and High Water, which reflects on crisis leadership and real-world operational challenges.

David Kimmel

Hospitality Technologist Consultant 

David brings over 30 years of industry experience, most recently serving as Director of Technology for Atlific Hotels. He specializes in supporting hotel owners and management companies through complex, high-stakes initiatives, including new builds, major renovations, system upgrades, and brand conversions. His expertise provides the critical technical oversight required to ensure seamless execution and successful project delivery.

Based in Montreal and with project experience spanning coast to coast, David is highly skilled at translating strategic objectives into clear, actionable technology roadmaps. His approach ensures that infrastructure investments and system implementations are fully aligned with ownership goals while meeting rigorous industry standards.

David’s expertise is particularly valuable in navigating the technical requirements of global brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Wyndham. In addition to managing vendor relationships and technology procurement, he establishes strong frameworks for cybersecurity, PCI DSS compliance, and business continuity—helping safeguard each property’s operational integrity and reputation from the outset.

Megan’s experience in hotel operations and revenue strategy allows her to identify opportunities that drive measurable results while maintaining a strong focus on the guest experience.
